Rich Lawrence, the founder of PacifiCoastal Design & Construction and has over 30 years of industry expertise, as well as, extensive education in Architecture & Building Construction Technologies. Rich oversees every project with personal attention from start to finish, bringing to the table a wealth of knowledge and an unprecedented eye for detail and precision quality. Before becoming a licensed General Contractor, Rich worked for over a dozen other Companies before starting his own. Gaining experience working for Custom Home Builders, Framing Contractors, Commercial School & Apartment Building Contractors for several years. Much of his Residential experience included building large custom Estates in the prestigious neighborhoods of Rancho Santa Fe & Fairbanks ranch.

Our Process

We will listen closely to your specific needs, offer suggestions, and develop a clear vision for your project. By utilizing our Design-Build approach, we are able to develop the design plans, as well as, all construction phases through to completion. This hands-on process allows us to ensure the project receives the utmost care from beginning to end. Most projects are completed with our in-house design team. For larger projects we work employ engineers and architects when appropriate. Our detail-oriented process relies on our time-tested approaches that include strict planning schedule, material acquisition, ongoing communications with our clients that guarantee successful projects every time.

Design-Build

By utilizing our Design-Build approach, we are able to develop design plans for your project, as well as, handle all construction construction phases through to completion.

We are upfront with all construction costs going into a project. Our open book policy assures you are getting contractor pricing on materials and there are no hidden fees or unexpected change orders
